About Kansas City Scott Gallagher Soccer Club

The Kansas City Scott Gallagher Soccer Club (formerly KC Select), was founded in 2005 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit serving the soccer community needs of the greater Kansas City Metro area. The Club was formed with 6 initial girls teams as the result of a merger of the Scream Soccer Club, the Renegades Soccer Club, the KC Nationals Soccer Club. The club has won MYSA State Cup Championships (3), MYSA State Cup Finalists (9), MYSA State Cup Semi-Finalists (4) and Midwest Regional League Premier Division (1) Championships. In May 2013, KC Select and Liberty United Football Club merged to grow the presence of the KC Select brand in the Northland by over 15 teams. In 2015 KC Select and KC Bayern Munich merged to increase the KC Select Club to over 80 teams in the KC Metro Area.  2016 again brought growth to the club with the merger of ALBA FC.   The club currently has teams ranked in the State, Regional and National level by NationalSoccerRanking.com and GOTSOCCER.COM.

The club’s core values center around Family, Education and Soccer Excellence.

Our mission is to promote youth soccer development in the KC Metro area with a blended focus on individual skills and age-appropriate tactical training. This is accomplished in a positive environment where players will have fun when playing at a highly competitive level. KCSG’s approach to training will allow players to play at the highest levels of youth soccer and prepare them to compete at the high school and college levels.
