Earlier this year KCSG launched a new program called S.T.A.R.S. (Success Through Adapted Rec Soccer) with the goal of making the game of soccer accessible to ALL. KCSG is paring the expertise of KCSG coaches with that of Special Needs Experts, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists and more. 

So much love and passion has gone into creating the S.T.A.R.S. program and we cannot wait to share it with everyone.

This program was developed by our DOC, Adam Lamb, and his wife Jessica, whose son Oliver has autism. Jess is an occupational therapist for the Lee’s Summit school district, and this program brings both their passions together to help support these unique kiddos by providing a safe and comfortable place to learn developmental skills through soccer and movement while providing a sense of community for parents. We hope the KCSG S.T.A.R.S. Program will bring joy to your families!
